Friday Phone Dump...

With the craziness of the Holidays I haven't done a Friday Phone post in several weeks! So these are just a few of the highlights of the last several weeks...
1. My girl loves colour and prints...oh, and dress up shoes...we were headed to the grocery store and post office...she gets lots of smiles and complements when we go out!
 2. My sister and I {and James} snuck away a few weeks ago to a local thrift store...we each came home with lots of goodies! We collect fun cups...so this little tin cup and happy face cup had to come home with me...as well as a pair of red high heals with a pointy toe, a Christmas canister and a statue of Holy Mother Mary...which my mother stole from me! I am going to take it back, mom!
 3. Some of my sisters and my mom...after the Christmas eve worship service...
 4. Daddy helping James get a ride on the scooter...
 5. My son, passed out on the pool table at the bar. Really we went to the bar/restaurant to see Grandma B. who works there...and right before we got there James fell asleep...so Jon laid him down on the pool table in the back room...and he peacefully slept there until we were almost done eating lunch!
 6. Almost the whole time we were at the bar Elsie had her mp3 player going...she was silently listening to the music while bopping her head and feet...it was cute. I imagine we won't find it so cute when she is a teenager!
 7. Jon...he was able to be home for several days after Christmas and new years...which was nice...we miss him terribly when he is gone on those darn 2 week tours...can't wait for the "slow" time to start at his work!
 8. A few weeks ago I brought James to the doctor again...this time for breathing issues. He had to have a chest X-ray...and we had to wait forever for our turn...but he was pretty contented to just wear his sisters nerd glasses and wave at all the nurses walking by. He is silly...and he does look pretty darn cute with those glasses!
 9. Getting the mail...for the last several months getting the mail is something the kids do together. I love watching them...they both feel so "big" being able to walk all the way to the end of the sidewalk to get the mail!
 10. So that is who has been pulling all the Christmas cards down!! Yesterday I finally took all the cards down...but I cannot bear to just throw all the pictures away...so I punched a hole in the corner of each one and put them on a clasp-hook...the kids have already spent a fair amount of time looking through all the pictures!
 11. Last weekend I kindly volunteered to drive over an hour to go to a particular store and pick my sister up a pair of red high heels so she could wear them to snowball...I volunteered to do so because I am an awesome sister like that...It had nothing to do with all the great shopping that town offers! My great purchase of the day was this fur vest...originally priced at $89...on sale for $13! My new years resolution of reining in my frivolous spending kinda went out the window last weekend...this weekend NO shopping...I think...
 12. The result of that doctor visit for breathing issues resulted in coming home with a portable nebulizer. He sleeps so much better after doing a neb. And he is slowly getting better at sitting still long enough to finish the entire treatment!
I am linking up again over at Life Rearranged...check it out!

The photo of James in the glasses is precious. The pool table nap made me smile and although I'm not sure I could pull off your new vest... I do love it!

that first photo is adorable. she reminds me of fancy nancy.

my son takes a neb too. your little one looks to be doing really well with it. elijah just recently stopped screaming the whole way through it. thank goodness. that was a stressful 15 minutes each time.
