Happy News...

I love sharing happy news...and this is the very best kind of happy news there is...

We are expecting baby #3!!

We are over-the-moon excited! Our due date is the beginning of November...so Elsie is already praying for a sister born on her birthday! Could happen! James doesn't really "get" the whole "mommy has a baby in her belly" concept. He will soon enough...like when my belly gets so huge my belly button pops out!
Jon and I both believe in living our lives like an open book...ask a question and you will get an honest answer. So...here I go...sharing too much...
I have been open in the past sharing about my fertility struggles. I have PCOS as well as endometriosis. Lovely for a couple with a desire for a large family! We were surprised to find ourselves pregnant with Elsie after only one month...James was a different story...well over a year of struggling before finding out we were pregnant with him. This time around things took awhile again...so we made the decision to see the specialist and get some fertility treatments...we were told we could only take the medicine for 6 months before being referred to a specialist to discus IVF...something we were not willing to do though! After four months of being on the medicine...we were surprised to find a positive pregnancy test! I just stared at the test forever before taking a picture to text to Jon!
Today we had the first ultra sound...but at not quite 5 weeks there was not much to see. I will go back in a few weeks when the baby is a little bigger...then we can hear the little heartbeat and be able to share some pictures.
I am happy to report that I have begun the lovely Morning Sickness stuff...not too badly though. And after all the struggles to get pregnant, morning sickness is almost a breath of fresh air. {remind me of that when I start throwing up!} My belly is strange...my pants already feel a little tight...like a walk-around-with-jean-unbuttoned kind of tight. I asked my sister for my maternity pants back! I assure myself though that it is way to early to wear them!
Soon I will begin bugging Jon about choosing a baby name...well, lets be honest...I already have both boy and girl names picked out! I am already dreaming of the day we find out if the baby will be a girl or boy...Elsie and I have already been talking about how we would dress a girl and what kind of hairbows to buy!
I think it is safe to say we are all excited!
