Embrace the Camera~ Outside Fun...

What is this little man waving so wildly you ask?
Maybe it is because he sees his sister and mommy coming up the hill pulling the wagon! James loves the wagon...and we have the perfect hill for wagon rides!

Both the kids love wagon rides...we are still trying to teach James the importance of holding on while the wagon is moving...he seems to think when he is done riding he should just catapult over the side!

Elsie wanted to pull James and I down the hill...

Ooops...looks like the wagon goes faster down a hill than little feet can go! I love that I am sitting in the wagon laughing as my daughter falls down...What a great mother! Just for the record Elsie was laughing, too and she did not get hurt!

See...she got right back up!

We brought the wagon to the top pf hill...and we all got in! The kids find this ride very exciting...and it is fun...good childhood fun! Every child to needs to have a wagon and a little hill...

Elsie and I were having a blast...James looks like he could have cared less about what was going on! I am sure that our hill is a huge mountain to Elsie...and we are probably going at least 100 mph in her mind...

I remember having these wagon rides when I was little...we had a huge mountain of a hill in our childish minds and we would fly down...and crash into the pine trees at the bottom...laughing and ready to do it again!

After several wagon rides we retired the wagon and headed to the swingset...these kids just can't get enough fresh air lately...This picture makes me smile...After Jon finished snapping several pictures of the kids and I...he took the time to put the camera down on the picnic table ad take a self-portrait of himself while grilling steaks for dinner! He has that photographer's eye...

*This post of pictures makes my heart happy...don't take life too seriously...take time for a little childhood fun! Everyone needs a little spontaneity and fun. Enjoy and cherish the little things...who knew a wagon and a hill could make so many fun memories...Life is short...be happy and let happiness explode from you...Grow up but don't get old!

Your hill looks like it sets the scene for all kinds of fun! Love that you let your little one pull you down the hill and the fact that you would let her do that is probably why she laughed when she fell instead of bawling. I hope that be a mommy just like that some day. Sometimes it’s the parent’s reactions to the falls and spills that scares them the most. I think it’s great that y’all chuckled together!
