Snow Fun and BFF's...

Elsie has the best little aunties around...she calls them her sisters or her BFF's...they get along like sisters...best of friends one minute, best of enemy's the next! I know that these 3 girls will always be the best of buddies! Some days Elsie has severe Auntie withdrawal...when it has been a couple of days without seeing the aunties I hear about it! Last week the weather was quite nice out...like 34' yahoo!...and Elsie was longingly looking out the window saying, "I just really, really wish I could go outside with my Aunties!" A phone call later and we were on our way over to their house for an afternoon of snow fun!
Please note that these are not my pictures...My sister Laura graciously agreed to go outside with my camera and snap some pictures while I put a certain busy little guy down for a nap...I love all these pictures...wish I could take credit...but I guess I better be honest...darn!

My parents have the coolest sliding hill out back...the kids always have such a blast! Sometimes we have even been know to line the hill with twinkly lights and go sledding at night...a very magical thing for the little kids!

Zooming down the big hill...I have heard quite a few wild and dangerous tales about sledding down the hill...it is amazing we haven't had any broken bones this winter...just a few trips to the chiropractor!

Elsie loves to makes snow angels...I often find her inside demonstrating to her brother how to make snow angels...

We are on the count down for spring...but until it gets here we will just try to enjoy the fact that the weather is warming up a bit...at least enough to play outside and not have to worry about frost bite!!
