Fireworks...

As dusk approached we all went down the baseball field and spread some blankets to watch the fireworks! By the time we ventured down to the baseball field we were just a small group of 10...slowly more people trickled in...Ceara and Ted came, and Laura and her boy friend...all but Ana and her boys were there.
Jon went with us...but didn't stay still for long! He enjoys walking around finding people to talk to...now that James is getting older the two of them are often walking around together!

We had to wait for what seemed like forever for the fireworks to begin...we all got a little bored. Thank goodness Grammie and Papa Wayne thought to bring some glow in the dark necklaces for everyone!

We sat in a new place for the fireworks this year...and it was a better spot than the spot we have sat in for the last 28 years! Who knew trying something new could be a good thing!?

More glow stick fun!

When I need to keep James entertained and in one spot I simple lay down...he climbs on me and gets all wild acting...I think I am his favorite toy...crazy boy!

Love those happy faces...

And finally the amazing fireworks began! They were great...as they always are. Elsie fell asleep in Grammie's arms...James watched the whole thing...We all went home and fell into bed tired from an amazing and busy 4th of July celebration. And Jon got up at 4am and headed to work...and the kids and I got up (much later!) and headed over to Grammie's for another wild day of playing, swimming and being together...we don't know how to slow down!!
