Bubble Bath...

The Easter bunny left a bottle of Bubble Bath in the kid's Easter basket this year...Elsie has been out of bubble bath for quite awhile...and getting more was high on her list...so you can imagine her happiness when she found it!
This was James first real bubble bath...sometimes we have been known to use the Dawn Dishsoap...but that is not quite the same as a real bubble bath with real bubbles...

James loves bath time...as soon as we put him in the tub he starts splashing and acts like a crazy little guy...he makes his sister double over with laughter because he is so crazy! When we first put him in the bubble bath he just sat quietly for a moment and looked at the bubbles...he didn't quite know what to think!

It didn't take him long to figure out that he could still make big splashes with all the bubbles...it also didn't take him long to realize that the bubbles don't taste very good...not that he ate a mouthful or anything!

Bubble Bath makes a happy bathtime for sure...And just maybe I even used a little of those fruity smelling bubbles in a nice hot Mother's Day bath for myself...I simply pretended that Elmo was not staring at me from the bottle and my children were not crying out the bathroom door...Never underestimate the power of a good bubble bath!

Was the swimsuit just for the pictures? Or is that your normal practice?

I make a bubble bath and am interested in whether clothed bathing is becoming common in families, because if it is then I may want to add an instruction to remove clothes immediately after use to prevent soapy material from drying in contact with skin.
