Spring is Here...

That is right...Spring is finally here! We have been outside every afternoon this week...and we even had the windows in the kitchen open this afternoon! These pictures were taken last weekend...all the guys were at the Sugar Shack making maple syrup...so the kids and I decided to enjoy the beautiful day with a walk... Elsie always tries to keep up with the aunties...but her legs are not quite long enough to use the big bikes! Elsie has a very patient auntie who helped her ride a big bike on our entire walk!

Spring is here and that means that one must wear spring clothes and sandals...Elsie wears skirts, sundresses and even shorts...when we go somewhere she simply slips a pair of legging on underneath...makes for some interesting clothing combinations!

Auntie Emma's shoes and socks combination...love it! Elsie may have gotten her sense of style from her auntie! You can't see it in this picture...but Emma was wearing 2 different colours of socks...because she is 8 and she can...I just might try it someday!

Elsie finds it fun to wear her Aunties clothes...including their shoes. It doesn't seem to matter that they are 2 sizes to big...she has the amazing ability to run in them like they are a perfect fit!

Love the freedom...sweet childish freedom...

Thankfully my parents live on a private road so the kids can run and we don't have to worry about cars...and run they do!

When they are not running they are stooped over looking for rocks...the basket of the stroller is always full of little rocks! Bring on the Spring...we are more than ready!!
