Story Time...
Today Elsie pulled all her books out of the basket on the bookshelf. She just sat there and quietly looked through all of them. She has 2 favorite books..." Quick as a Cricket" by Audrey and Don Wood and a "Little People Farm" book with little lift flaps. The Audrey and Don Wood book was one of Jon's books as a small child. Grandma B. gave Elsie a stack of Jon's old story books for a baby gift when she was born. It is fun that now she able to enjoy his books...someday we can give them to Elsie's children to enjoy...a special little heirloom...

that's really neat that becky gave elsie some of jon's old storybooks! lucky girl! unfortunately, most of our storybooks were greatly loved by *all nine* of you kids - and so they're pretty battered looking and falling apart by now! oh well.
i'm glad she likes books - that's so very important.
