Grandpa with a water tanker truck...
My parents have had an above ground pool for several years...and last year the liner got a very big hole...so my dad just finished installing the new liner and is now working on filling the pool with water from the tanker truck...as the water poured into the pool the kids thought it was great fun to play in the huge water hose!
The kids watched the pool fill for a long time...but they just could not handle watching for long...soon they had to jump in and play in the freezing cold ankle-deep water...
The pool looks huge and very deep with no water...somehow when it is full of water and people it is not nearly big enough...we always wish it was a little bigger to escape all the canon ball splashes from Colter!
I think kids are immune from cold and freezing water! Looks like they were having a blast! After awhile Elsie's diaper was full of water and ready to explode...so we had to take it off her...so Elsie had her first skinny dipping experience...she completely loved it!
We eventually had to make all the kids get out...and their toes were so cold! The pool is all filled up now...and Elsie is already begging to go "wimming" in the pool again!

your dad hauled the last tanker load of water for it this afternoon --- the kids are very excited to have it filled. but the water is freezing, and it still needs a lot of chemicals added, so it'll probably still be another 5-6 days before they can use it...
