Easter...

Elsie was overjoyed to find her Easter basket yesterday morning! We placed it so it was the first thing she saw when she woke up...and she was thrilled!
In her basket she found some sugar-free candy, some bracelets and rings for play, a Beatrix Potter dvd, some chap-stick (which she thinks is lipstick!) and a little broom from Nova toys...I think she loved it all!
After church we went to my parents home for dinner...this year the older 3 girls planned Easter and made the dinner and desserts...they had everything looking so fancy!

The girls had the table set very fancy! They even had salad forks and little plates all set with the desserts...Dinner tasted very good! I think they should plan all the holidays from now on!

Dinner was good...but Elsie would not eat any of it! All she wanted was a butterfly cupcake! I don't think she had any "good" food all day!

How could we not let her fill up on junk when she smiles so sweetly at us!?
After dinner we outside for some Easter games! The first game was an Easter egg hunt! I think Jon and my dad hid over 100 eggs for everyone to find!

Next was an egg-relay race...Everyone was broken up into about 4 people on a team...

Jon, Laura, Colter and myself were on a team...and we won First place!

The next game was a couples game...the dreaded Three Legged Race!

Jon did practically drag me along...but we won first place! I think next year the games should be just for the kids!
The kids all took turns doing the three legged race...some of the kids were terribly confused at the name of the game...they kept saying "but I don't get it...there are still four legs!?"

It looks like Colter got smart and is having a two legged race...he is just carrying Elsie along! Wonder who won this race?

After the games the kids were all playing at the swing set...When the kids decided to come inside we could hear Elsie screaming...she was not done swinging and did not want to come inside! So grandpa calmly look the swing off the swing set and carried her in the house still in the swing...and he hung the swing up in the living room! We had to move the dining room table and the couch so she could swing in house...but she was happy! I think she is only a little spoiled by everyone!

We went to grandma B's house for dinner...and Elsie fell asleep in the car on the way to her house. She was so tired out that we were able to bring her in the house and she never moved at all! Jon and Elsie were able to take a nice little snooze together...

We had a lovely Easter...lots of good memories...lots of good times...best news off all Jessica and Nick shared that in November they will be having a baby...Congratulations to them! Our family just keeps getting bigger and bigger!
