St. Patrick's Day Parade...

Today we went to the St. Patrick's day parade...this was Elsie's fist year going to the parade... I think she enjoyed herself! We bought her this silly little shamrock headband...she actually didn't mind wearing it for most of the parade!

We met my parents and the kids at the parade...and they were all decked out with green nails...

I think most of the kids had a green hat or crown on...

During the parade someone handed Elsie a sucker! She has never had a "real" sucker before...only sugar and dye free suckers! She sure was happy with the sucker! Just for the record she did forget all about it by the time we got home...

Trying to eat the sucker...wrapper and all! Maybe tomorrow she can have it!

Elsie and Jon watching the parade...Elsie was very interested in watching everything...At one point a photographer from the newspaper came by and took some pictures of her...he will have to get the newspaper tomorrows to see if her picture made the paper!

Not sure what was going on here...my dad with a crown and Jon with the shamrock headband...they sure do look happy with their new looks! They really did watch the parade for a while like this!
