Kool-aid Fun...

Because Kool-aid is very unhealthy with lots of dye and sugar we never drink it...but it doesn't mean we can't have fun experimenting with it! Can you guess what we were doing this morning?
A little Conditioner and the kool-aid in a small bowl...

Mix it up till nice and green...

Now we are ready to dye Elsie's hair green for the St. Patricks Day parade!

At first she thought this was fun...we put a little chair in front of the mirror in the living room...we were only going to do a little bit of her hair...just enough for a lovely green pony-tail...

By the time we were done she hated her hair! She kept trying to pull at her hair...it was quite obvious she did not want green hair! The directions said to let the dye sit in her hair for about 1 hour before rinsing...we only got to about 5 min! While I was getting the water ready for the rinse...Elsie ran into her room and put a hat on her head...I think she was very proud of herself for covering up all that green! After rinsing her hair it only had a very light green hue...maybe next year she will be willing to keep the dye on longer! Note that we only did this as a joke for my sisters...they thought they would get me going by painting Elsie's finger nails green...So I thought I would get them even better by showing up at the parade with a green haired little girl!
