Christmas morning the kids slept in a
little...
and when they woke up...
Santa had eaten the cookies and drank the milk
and left a gift for each on
their pillows!
They each opened some new movies...
except Angelina who opened a cozy blanket!
Excitment, excitment!
After weeks of watching the pile of
Christmas gifts under the tree grow,
they finally got to see whose was whose and
see what was inside!
We always take turns opening gifts...
taking our time and enjoying
each gift as it's opened...
Truly enjoying and cherishing the moment
and not rushing through it.
Capturing the joy,
excitment and wonder...
Angelina fell asleep mid gift opening...
and slept on her new
blanket among
all the paper and toys strewen
along the floor...
It was a happy mess!
A perfectly perfect day...
happy kids,
happy parents,
memories made.
