Water Fun...

We are taking full advantage of the amazing summer weather...lately when we wake up it is already warm enough to open windows and go outside...in pajamas and all! The kids were so thrilled a couple days ago when I told them we could finally set the new water sprinkler up!
Nothing is quite as good as running through the sprinkler then playing in the sandbox to getting full of dirt! A night time bath is a must...

James did walk through the sprinkler a couple times...every time he would do a shocking little scream and run a bit faster! After awhile he was contented to simply sit and play with a bucket...he kept putting the bucket on his head for a hat...gotta love his blooming imagination...I have a funny feeling he will be just as creative as his sister before long!

Sand between the toes...goodbye clean house!

Jon and I bought the kids a super fun and wild water sprinkler for part of their Easter gift...and it is the best water sprinkler ever! It sprays all over...it is impossible to not get wet! Elsie was enjoying trying to find a good stream of water to catch some in her bucket...she would then dump it in the sandbox to make mud...

James...doing his best to walk through the sprinkler and not get wet...it was just a bit to cold for him, I think!

We are going to savor every warm day as much as possible...Elsie is sleeping in her swimsuit for the second day in a row now...she can't get enough summer!

Happy kids...I am sure our neighbors are already getting tired of hearing all the happy screams and laughter coming from our yard!
