Random Things...

Last weekend Jon surprised me with a new camera...The Nikon 3100! The lens broke a while ago for our Nikon D40...and rather than buy just a lens Jon bought a new camera body and 2 lens...I was not about to complain! Both Jon and I enjoy photography and Jon knows how important it is to me to have a nice camera to capture memories. I am totally loving the new camera...and the lens options! I also have a fun little wide angle attachment...it is rare for me too take a picture that is not a close up...so be prepared for some new types of photography! Though I am not sure I will like the wide angle...it shows my terribly messy house a bit too much for my liking!
This picture and the one above were shot with the wide angle...and it makes James looks so tiny! I think he giving me the "what is your problem,mom" look...

This is as close as I have come with getting a picture of James wearing any of the shirts I have made...he is far to busy when he is not eating to take a good picture of his clothes!
