Lately I feel like nothing is safe in our house...If it is not way up high it is simply not safe from a certain little 8 month old boy! I feel like my days consist of trying to be one step ahead of him and take things out of his reach...or picking up one mess after another if I wasn't fast enough at taking something away! James favorite thing to do is push things along and walk behind them...which is why we now have the kitchen stools on the counter...if he sees them on the floor he makes a mad dash for them and pushed them along the floor!
This little guy can drive me crazy sometimes...but as crazy as he make me I find myself wondering what to do when he is napping...it gets too quite...good thing Elsie doesn't nap!!

When Wyatt was going through that stage, there was about 9 months where my living room was stripped bare. And when I mean bare, I mean NOTHING was on the ONE coffee table in the room. Pictures were removed from shelves. And we even removed all furniture but a couch and a chair and the kids toys. It was semi embarrassing to have people over because my living room literally looked like either a college kids' who didn't have any money to buy anything OR a daycare center's. All it needed was padded walls - which we considered at one point. ;-)
I get it. But know that it does get better. Just wait until he's big enough to pull those stools off the counter. Then NOTHING is safe.
Happy parenting!
;-)
