Embrace the Camera~ Self-Portrait...

This week's Embrace the Camera...Lots and lots of Self-portraits! We may have gone over-board just a bit thanks to the fun new wide angle lens! It all started with a shoulder ride...
And turned into a fun photo shoot...using my bedroom closet mirror...and a few funny faces...

I love this picture...both the kids were laughing hard! I was jumping up and down making funny noises and being goofy...sometimes a mother has to get creative when attempting to make both kids look at the camera! Notice I failed...but I still love the picture...and it makes for good memories...

Elsie is getting a little better at wanting me to take her picture...seems children are always going through some crazy phase or another!

While Elsie and I were busy taking pictures James was happily playing on the floor...Please excuse this messy room...That big exercise ball is such an eye sore! Not to mention all the green tape everywhere in the room! I have plans to paint our bedroom a deep Chocolate brown colour...with crisp white curtains, and a black leather headboard...so far I have the tape up on the walls! Now it is falling off...I really will get around to painting one of these days...(I hope!)

Mommy and Daughter...Elsie is slowly beginning to call me Mommy again...but for the most part she still calls me "shasta"...that phase has lasted almost a year now!

Wild and Crazy little guy...He has now gone 2 days in a row with NO morning nap...He is not old enough to give up his morning nap...

This is how my children see me most...a camera stuck to my face! I have such a need to capture moments...special moments, silly moments, crazy moments, frustrating moments...I love being a mother and don't want to forget any of these sweet little moments when my children are no longer quite so little...
