James is slowly figuring out that bubbles don't taste so good! In these pictures James is using him little bath chair...an attempt in vain to corral him in the tub...he climbs head first out of the chair! So now the chair is packed away and James is free to do what he pleases...so now he stands in the tub, gets in and out, scoots from one end to the other...in other words he drives me crazy! Bath time is no easy task...
Elsie has always loved taking a bath...washing her hair is another story! We still have to wash her hair in the kitchen sink...and there is no shortage of tears! I am certain that someday she will allow her hair to be wash in the tub like a "normal" child...but for now we enjoy pertending the kitchen sink is a fancy salon!
My little guy...James loves to be moving at all times...and he has now discovered the joy of splashing! Some days I think I get just as wet as the kids do!
This is what James does throughout the entire bath time...in the tub for a bit...out of the tub, back in, again and again until Mommy says enough is enough! He can't actually climb in and out by himself yet...he just kinda falls over the side! I have discover the safest thing to do is sit right beside the tub with one hand on James at all times!
After the bath is over come the highlight of bath time...watching the "tornado" in the tub! Elsie always calls it a "tomato"! For some reason that swirl of water going down the drain is a huge highlight to kids...
Cuddling in the towels to keep warm...The kids each have a couple of special towels to use. Elsie always chooses the duck and James always gets the frog! A fun bath time...for some reason the kids always get a surge of energy after bath time...good thing I know bedtime is just around the corner for them!!
