Winter Baking...

Since winter is here in full swing we have fallen into a bit of a nice little routine...Mondays have become out laundry and cleaning day...On Tuesday and Wednesdays we bake and cook! Elsie loves to help me in the kitchen! Lately we have been spoiled by some super long morning naps from James...otherwise he is quite happy to get into mischief with the tupperware and whatever else he can find!
This week we made several small pizza crusts to keep on hand in the freezer for spontaneous pizza nights! Elsie had fun patting the dough into little round shapes...

We now have the pizza crusts in the freezer, Banana Bread, Applesauce Muffins, Puffy Cake, Vanilla Ice-cream, homemade Caramel Rolls, a pot of Chili and Sweet and Sour Ham...we will be eating good for the next couple weeks! I always find Elsie looking through my recipe book and coming up with more things to bake. I think the next thing on our list is Granola Bars...
