Last nigh Elsie and I went to the Nutcracker Ballet in town...all week long Elsie had been talking about going to the Ballet...she was very excited!
Since we were all dressed up in our "fancy" clothes for the Ballet we had to take a few pictures...
Elsie loved the Ballet...I had fun listening to her chattering away about what she was seeing...and seeing her so excited at some points in the performance that she couldn't even sit back!
I feel so lucky to have a little girl to do "girly" things with...I think every mother needs a daughter or two!

...or maybe *eight* daughters??! ha! yes, there's nothing better than having a good time with daughters (and granddaughters!) i don't know what i'd do without *all* of you - you all are truly my best friends!
the two of you looked so pretty all dressed up! i'm glad elsie had fun - the nutcracker ballet is always great! ceara was telling us how much elsie was chattering and they were chuckling at her --- what a character!! we're sorry that we missed it this year - maybe next year we can all go together again.
