Jon has been lucky enough to have a little vacation from work this week...so today we we went to the park and beach to play for awhile...Elsie loves the park but she says the water is her favorite! 
Down by the beach...something about the lighting bouncing off the water makes me not want to stop taking pictures...so I took plenty!
Right by the shore line is a large rock...I was trying to talk Elsie into standing on the rock for a picture...but she wanted nothing to do with it...so Jon got on the rock instead! 
Elsie is quite a water bug...she wasted no time at all getting her toes in the water...
Soon she discovered the dock...thankfully the water is quite shallow...
A rather forced smile...I told her to "smile so mommy can get your picture"...and this is what I got! 
Walking out to the "deep end" with Daddy's help...
Elsie had a little fit at the end of the dock because we would not let her jump into the lake! To make her happy Jon dipped her down off the end to get her toes wet...it made her happy! I am not sure why she wanted to jump in at the deep end...maybe she it turning into her uncle Colter!
We had a fun evening at the park and the lake...even if Elsie firmly believes the lake is a pool...all evening she was talking about the big pool we were playing in!
