Today's Entertainment...
Today Elsie and I spent the afternoon at Jessica and Nick's house with all my family...Jessica and Nick are re-siding their house...so my dad and Colter went over to help...Jon had to work again this weekend or I am sure he would have been there too! I just love this picture...Colter...the 11 year old boy...is up on the ladder working and all the other guys are standing around watching him do all the work! What is up with that!? I hope all afternoon wasn't like that!
Jessica and Nick's house is a cute cottage type house...I love the classic look of the house...they are putting sage siding up with white trim...can't wait to see it when it is finished!

ohmygosh - these pictures are priceless! colter was soo very happy to do a full day's worth of "man's work" with the men today --- they got home at 9:30 tonight and after cleaning up he went straight to bed, exhausted! he loved being up on the ladder pulling nails from the boards. kind of makes me sad to see my little boy growing up - but he's sure learning to be a good worker.
yes, i agree, i can't wait to see the end results of their house with the new green siding, the new light fixtures and everything else, all jazzed up. exciting!!
it was a fun day today for all of us, i think.
