I thought she looked so cute...she calls her boots her "cowboy"! 
I showed Elsie that I also have some cowboy boots...so we both had to wear our boots around the house for a little bit...she was concerned because daddy doesn't have any cowboy boots! 
Today At another sale I found this little pink cup for Elsie...she loves eating off pretty plats and cups...so she was very excited to have a new pretty cup to use at dinner time! I have noticed that because we only use glass with her, she is far more gentle with things like this than other kids her age...I love watching get carefully pick the cup up and put it down...so far she has yet to break any glass dishware...hopefully it stays that way!

i love cowboy boots! colter won't wear them anymore - but he had several pair when he was a little boy. maybe auntie em will wear hers over to your house someday so she and elsie can be 'matching' --- elsie will love that, i'm sure!
it's great that you're letting her eat off glass plates and drink from glass cups - just allowing her to do so as well as touch them and experience it is a good thing. kids *can* do it - even little kids, if they're taught how and given a chance to experience it! and so what if they break it - we adults still break things from time to time, too. i like that kind of hands-on approach - (like the montessori teaching method) - it's a very good thing.
