Picnic Under the Apple Tree...

This afternoon my sisters came to play with Elsie...and they decided a picnic under the apple tree sounded like a lovely thing to do...they spread out the picnic blanket and set out the tea sets...
They even had their baby dolls, dress up hats and shawls...a very elegant picnic!

Soon imaginary food was just not working too well to keep their tummy's full...so we brought out a watermelon to share...

I love watching the kids and their imagination...

Even Uncle Colter got to enjoy the watermelon...but he had no interest in joining in on the picnic!

Elsie loves watermelon...she is a fruit kind of kid!

2 pretty band-aids on Elsie's legs...she is in the habit of picking at her mosquito bites till they bleed...so we cover them up with band-aids to prevent little fingers from picking...
