Rain Day...

Today was a rainy day...a perfect day for a little rain coat! Elsie loves her rain coat and just couldn't wait to go outside and try it out! She normally wears little yellow mud boots with the coat...
Before we could leave we had to wait for Jon to finish getting ready...so I entertained Elsie with some "mommy and Elsie" self- portraits! Jon rarely remembers to take any pictures of Elsie and I...so maybe self-portraits will have to become a habit!

This picture was Elsie's idea! She looked are me and kept sticking her tongue out until I did it too...than she kept grabbing the camera so I would take a picture! After I showed her the picture she just nodded her head and smiled at me...as if saying "good job,mom!" I think Elsie will never have to talk because we just know what she saying be her motions and very expressive face and eyebrows! Grandma B. thinks Elsie will make a good stage actress some day because of her super expressive face!
