A New High Chair...

Last weekend when my sisters and I were garage sailing we bought a large item (a roll-a-way-bed...don't ask, it was sisters idea!) and my dad and Jon and had to go pick it up...while picking up our item my dad saw this vintage highchair and just had to have it! He loves anything chrome...and just look at all the chrome! I think normal people call it stainless steel! It really is an adorable little chair...and in perfect shape for being so old! My sisters just reminded me that we don't feed Elsie on plastic plates because she breaks out in a rash...now she won't need to eat off a plastic tray either because it is all stainless!
Elsie loves the little chair too! How many Grandpas would come all excited because they just bought a vintage highchair for the grandchildren!?
One more quick note...notice the missing sippy cup...Elsie has suddenly decided that a sippy cup is no longer for her...she wants a big girl cup! She does super good with the cup...she never spills and can now drink one-handed! Such a big girl!

oh man...your dad and all the STUFF he has to have!!! i'm not sure how i feel about this old high-chair - i liked the one we had, even if it had a plastic tray --- but, oh well, i'm sure this vintage one will get lots of use - and if we continue being blessed with more grandbabies, we just may have to use both of them at the same time!

and yes, THAT roll-away bed. your sisters have PLANS for it, which include sleeping outside in lovely summery weather and building a little summer cottage --- they have a tendency to look at everything in such a dreamy, romantic way ... kind of like you three older girls were when you were their age. i just shake my head, smile at them, and try to stay out of their way!! ha!
