Before we went out to play Elsie had to find a hat to wear from the dress-up basket...I love the hats she chooses...
It was so sunny out again that she had to wear her sunglasses...she has always had a "thing" for sunglasses and hats!
We took Elsie's shoes off so she could feel the grass between her toes...I firmly believe that shoes are a "no no" in the summer...the only shoes I ever wear in the summer are flip-flops! Gotta let those toes breathe!
Elsie has been into dress up again lately...so she even had to wear a fancy little bracelet outside. I love that she normally wears her bracelet around her upper arm or elbow...of course her arm is so tiny and the bracelet so big that it always slips down so she has to keep her arm bent at all time so it doesn't fall on the floor!
We noticed that we now have tulips coming up in the flower garden! We moved to this house last fall...so it has a been a nice surprise to watch the flower garden bloom with all the flowers we didn't know were there! I do find myself wondering just how many flowers we pulled by mistake while weeding a few weeks ago!
I have no idea what this little purple/blue flower is...but it is lovely! All the "grass"is actually some kind of plant...but I think I want to pull it all up. I think it just looks like I don't know how to manage the weeds in the flower garden! Thankfully Elsie has not discovered that she can pick the flowers in the garden! But I have a feeling it won't be long till she figures it out and I don't have any flowers left to admire!

oh my, can she get any sweeter??! i just love that she has an imagination already. such a little 'girly-girl' already!!
my advice to you (you knew i'd have advice for you, now didn't you? ha!!) is to not pull out any of your plants till you find out for sure what they are. oh, and the purple flowers in the bottom picture are called muscari - (they're also called grape hyacinth.) you're lucky you have such nice flower beds - i love flowers but we can't grow any out here because our soil is so rocky. i'll just have to admire yours when we visit you, i guess!
after posting the above comment i was afraid i had told you wrong about the flower - so i had to go and do a little research on google. and yes, the purple flowers are called grape hyacinth. maybe you can look up your other plants too, and find out more about each of them. (oh, how i love google!!) have fun!
