Goin' Green Outside...

This evening Jon worked on cutting the grass for the first time this spring...we borrowed my parents rotary lawn mower! Jon and I have plans to purchase a mower like this ourselves...but we had to try theirs out before we get one! I like that it uses no gas so it healthy for the grass and the environment. I also like that is not loud at all! Elsie was able to play outside while Jon cut the lawn...something we would never let her do if it was a regular gas powered mower!
Jon said he wants to find a mower that is a little larger...we have a fairly big yard and a mower of this size takes quite a while to get it all done! I love that it looks so old fashioned an classic... love all the "green" things that are becoming so popular!
